Sant’Antimo

Legend has it that the foundation of this abbey dates back to the 9th century at the time of the Holy Roman Empire led by Emperor Charlemagne. Reality dictates that this is one of the most beautiful places to give rest to the soul and find yourself in the chirping of the birds, in the rustling of the ears of wheat and contemplate the architectural perfection of one of the most important abbeys in Italy. The landscape all around seems designed to give even more grace to the church: as if architecture and nature found here a perfect balance desired by a man who was finally sapiens sapiens. Don’t miss it!
